ABOUT us

Our Mission

We want to help college aged women obtain the building blocks needed for becoming a better version of themselves. Our goal is to provide tips to strengthen women’s mental and physical health. We believe that in order to be the best version of yourself, you must first learn how to build habits that will be sustainable. We aspire for young women to feel Bold, Raw, Inspired, and eXtraordinary, hence the name BRIX.

Our work is guided by the hope that college women will learn to take care of themselves better, especially during such formative years of their lives. We want women to be confident in who they are as they build the foundation to becoming a better version of themselves.

Why is this relevant?

Women in college are struggling. There are so many tasks, events, people and pressures thrown at them 24/7. As a result, college women are juggling:

  • body image issues

  • sleep deprivation

  • eating disorders

  • anxiety

  • depression

We know that due to the major shift college life brings, women find it difficult to create good habits in their daily life, causing them to struggle with the list above.

That’s why we are here. We want to help.

OUr History

We are four college women. We all have very different lives, but there is one thing we all have in common... A hectic schedule.

We all found that college is full of so many wonderful opportunities. With that being said, these opportunities take away the time to care for our own selves.

One day we all came together and decided, “What if we team up and start telling women of basic tips they can do to help with sleep, confidence and health.”

There are a lot of groups out there that give wonderful tips on how to become a better version of yourself. However, our goal is to provide long term tips that can become a part of your daily routine.

Thus, Brix Chicks formed. Four chicks that want to provide other college aged women with the building blocks, or brix, to create healthy habits in their life.
